The goal of this website is to educate, promote, and inform the wrestling community about the past and present of Bergen County wrestling.  We hope to become the primary source of information for wrestlers, coaches, and fans both during the season and in the offseason.

The team and individual rankings will be expansive and up to date.  The articles that will be posted will be unique in that they will not be written by reporters learning the sport, but by people with a tremendous amount of experience as high school wrestlers and coaches.  I hope it will give people a perspective that is unique.

Everything you read on here will be positive and promote the teams, coaches, and athletes involved in Bergen County wrestling.  While there are many interesting posts on forums like NJO, they are usually peppered with anonymous "bashing" that does not belong in comments about high school athletes.

No one works harder or is challenged more than wrestlers, but they rarely get the press coverage they deserve.  In a day and age where participation numbers are decreasing, less and less athletes are willing to make the kind of commitment and accept the one on one challenge of our sport.

This website also will provide fans with a sense of history.  This is something that the "old timers" will enjoy, and that the younger athletes can appreciate.  The history section is an ongoing project, and I hope that by the end of this year, all of the All County Teams will be updated and some of the history of the BCCA Tourney will be available as well.
